Spurley Hey Football Club is proud to announce a special Fundraising Dinner taking place on Friday 18th July 2025 at The 1883 Suite, Edgeley Park, home of Stockport County FC.
This event will raise vital funds for the club’s ambitious Warth Meadow Vision; a long-term project to transform Warth Meadow into a modern, inclusive and sustainable home for community football.
The evening will feature a line-up of distinguished guests from across the world of sport and football. The event will be hosted by James Cooper, Sky Sports News reporter and lecturer in broadcasting at the University Campus of Football Business (UCFB).
Special guests confirmed to appear include:
• Brian McClair, Manchester United and Scotland football legend
• Steve Bellis, President of Stockport County Football Club
• Brendan Flood, Chairman and CEO of UCFB and former owner of Burnley FC
• Yvonne Harrison, CEO of Women in Football
• Tim Munton, former England and Warwickshire cricketer
• Nathan Aspinall, professional darts player, who will present a virtual darts challenge
Guests will enjoy a two-course meal alongside an evening of insight, stories and entertainment, with all profits going directly to Spurley Hey FC.
