Spurley Hey FC is proud to announce an exciting new partnership with We Make Footballers, a national organisation known for delivering high-quality coaching to young players across the UK.

This collaboration marks a new chapter for our junior development program, as the Spurley Hey FC Academy is re-launched as the Spurley Hey FC Footy School, powered by We Make Footballers.

Open to players in Reception and Year 1 of Primary School, the Footy School will run every Saturday from 9:00am to 10:00am at Marple Hall School, with tailored sessions for 4-6 year olds.

The sessions have been designed to build confidence, develop technical ability, and instill a love for the game in a safe and inclusive environment. Best of all, your child’s first session is completely free.

Paul Jackson, Spurley Hey FC’s Head of Foundation Player Development, shared his enthusiasm for the partnership:

We Make Footballers has a strong track record of developing talent and creating fun, structured training environments for children of all abilities. Their Stockport franchise will lead the delivery of the Footy School, with local coach Scott Hodges at the helm.
